Stratstone: Meeting Stratstone

We finally went to Stratstone in Harrogate today and met with Jas to discuss the brief - everything is so much clearer now!

So during the meeting we discussed our ideas so far and our concerns, but we came to learn that the Alice in wonderland theme was only an idea for inspiration and that the outcome didn't have to have any direct reference to the story. So annoyingly, the thing we'd been struggling with the most wasn't needed anyway! So I feel poor communication (on stratstone's part) was to blame and could've been a much smoother process if the brief was more clear.

However, whilst there we were able to agree on an outcome - a backdrop to go behind a car that communicates a feeling of the outdoors with nice sunsets etc - and we acquired some banner stands from the shop so that we could create large scale prints to hang up. It was really relieving to know that we didn't have to build a huge set out of wood and paint it, and this way we'd have a set price for the printing costs and we wouldn't lose out on any money.

So now I'm feeling alot happier about the brief, and although it'll still be a challenge, it won't be in anyway as challenging as what we originally thought!

Our new brief:
Create a backdrop to go behind a car, that has a landscape/outdoors feel.
