As the car being displayed is originally from Top Gear, part of our brief was to make sort of reference to a 'campfire scene' as seen in the episode, but also maintaining an alice in wonderland theme - it feels like a bit of a strange brief but that's what they've asked for so we'll try our best.
In light of our concerns about the large wooden set that we were proposing to build, we decided to refine the idea so that it would only contain smaller elements. I think this is more of a viable idea as they will be easier to transport and hopefully easier to produce. So I designed some elements like mushrooms and teacups which I think communicate alice in wonderland, but also a campfire so it's like bear Grylls meets alice in wonderland??
We were told that they have some christmas trees for the display so I created a digital mockup to show what we had in mind for the project, and Joe also created some rabbit characters to go amongst the set. We told Jas that we'd be in touch with some ideas soon so I think this will be something to show the development of the project - (we're also keen to look professional and make a good impression for future work opportunities).
